Just looking for some advice on either A) DIY or B) a recommendation of where I can get it done. I have a OMI Dash 9 from 96 with the dreaded dogbone style drive. With that said, looking to not have to keep replacing the drive shafts. Any suggestions?

NWSL makes substitute drive shafts, all you need is the shaft diameter to make sure the sockets will fit the shafts. If those also break, what's causing it? You can also substitute neoprene or silastic tubing with metal spacers between them to be the drive shafts. Again measure the shaft diameter of the motor and gear tower to get the right size tubing, so everything is a press on fit.
