Railfanning with the Bednars by John Pechulis...

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

I'm gradually adding the Bednar videos to my collection, I agree, they're fantastic. On the other hand, I'm a former New Jersey boy who grew up around the Reading and LV -- but you're a Milwaukee fan. Are you starting to fall for some of the other decrepit US lines of the 1960s and 70s?

Enjoyed these videos. Brings back a lot of good memories of riding on the Northern Pacific and Milwaukee Road when I was a kid.

Always liked N&W, D&H, LV, RDG, WM, NYNH&H and WM....as you say, I'm a Milwaukee Road man...fan, but....I haven't forgot my other favourites. Milwaukee Road is the big one though...

This, or next 'paycheck', I think that I'll buy a couple of DVD's...

The Bednar videos are continuing to inspire me. A current project is converting a number of Atlas Classic locos that are in Conrail predecessor paint to DCC. The videos show that scenes like this could happen:
