Rex, those Kadee smoothbacks should do the job. When I read that the needlepoints were insulated, I thought that should solve your problem since the back truck should never be able to conduct any electrical impulses to the front truck. Looks my limited electrical knowledge may even have been right this time - a first for me. :)
