Actually, somebody posted a pic somewhere of the HO one that they did build. Looks just like the prototype. Can't remember where I saw it though. Maybe an Iain Rice article?

Does it look like the hill was put there, solely so that the railroad could have a cut through it? Imagine if it were a tunnel...

I didn't even notice the hill at first.... The first thing I saw was a freight-style unit pulling a passenger train while running hammerhead style (long hood forward)
