Hey guys,

Recently I installed DCC into my LL P2k SD7, runs fantastic, but the lights are not super bright, and they actually flicker a little when the loco first takes off.
I would like to put LED's in it.

Currently I have 3mm LED's with 480ohm resistors, I installed them but they won't light up at all. Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong?

This is exactly how mine looks:

I left the original light board in.

Thanks,
Silas

You probably have the led wired backwards, leds have polarity, just wire it around the other way and it should work.
The long lead on the led is positive while the shorter leg is negative, so if you swap the wires over it should work. Not seeing it I think that is what you may have done.
