What do you guys use to preserve scenery?
Like trees, clump foliage, lichen, ground cover and such.
I know I am just beginning my first model train layout, but I was wondering how do you keep that stuff from detartrating in the future?

Back in the Land Where Dinosaurs Roamed the Earth, we used a combination of glycerin and hair spray.

Here in the U.K. the cheap hairspray works best.
