Granite Gorge and Northern Again
Hi to all
Here is a simple circuit for a power supply to power coil/twin-coil type switch motors. I have built several of these over the years. Sharing the circuit schematic.
For those of you outside the US with 200-240VAC lines (50 or 60Hz, does not matter), just change the transformer to an appropriate primary with a secondary of 15-19VAC at least 1 Amp rating. Sorry, but I do not know a lot of the Euro part equivalents, but easy to find cross-references on the internet. None of the components are "special". I have experimented with "how many switches at a time"... I can have 5 Atlas Snap-switches fire at the same time. Have fun!
