So I started this modular layout design Idea by see an Ntrak module layout at a show. So, I said to myself "SELF I could build one I have a bunch Of N scale stuff."
This is the Track Plan. I had all the structures they were given to me by a friend whose dad passed away. I scratch built the coal trestle and bought the Interstate Fuel Company kit. Ill have more pictures up soon.
I'll take pictures with the structures off and I'll be doing a video on how to do it when I Ge to that point on my HO module build on my YouTube channel.
Well guys and girls after this module was 100% done I got some really bad news it seems my Tape measure must have fallen and bent the claw so all my measurements were 1/16 of a inch off so all my track was off and I could not fix it it so here the epic death of the module.
So the rebirth of this module has started . I'll have videos up soon this will be a quick build compared the the Ho tracks module.. hope you guys enjoy the build.
The bench work was done and now it's time to lay the foundation for the module build.
Instead of using foam board for the sub straight I decided to use cork from a roll. It was a bit of a challenge keeping the edges down but now I know to put a heavier layer around the outer edge.
Right now, this modules like a bean bag not a single leg to stand on.
So let start figuring them out.
So, to get your track work right you need to get your roadbed right.
So here I go and lay down some more cork roadbed.
Thanks you all for watching and following along I do appreciate it and value you comments and questions.
Laying your roadbed is just the beginning; next up, it's time to lay down some tracks. Let's lay some of the straightest tracks this side of the model train universe!
