Used to run home from school, or ride my bike fast, to get to watch Clutch, Beany & Cecil, "The Seasick Sea Serpent"! Never saw Scott McCloud.
 
I remember watching Hobo Kelly , Felix the cat and Gigantor on tv , eating fresh donuts and baked goods we bought off the Helms Bakery truck , on Halloween night in 1974 a Santa Fe train derailed in La Mirada right in front of my old high school .Big explosions and fires got us all out of class for 2 days!! That was a very ugly scene .
