I'm running a train with other club members using Digitrax for power. My lead DCC locomotive has
bell and horn sounds but when I go to use my throttle to activate either one, nothing happens. Yet on my home program track
the bell and horn sound when pushing #1 and 2. Any idea on why my throttle does not re-act on a large layout track?

Reasons I can think of, the controlling address is not the lead locomotive. The locomotive is in an advanced consist (CV19 is not 0) and bell and horn are not activated for the consist address.

Here’s some ideas:

The club DCC system might be full. On my club layout, it lists every locomotive that has ever run on the layout. This list gets full, so it needs to be cleaned out every once in a while. That layout runs on EasyDCC, though, not digitraxx. Ask someone at your club who knows how the system works if that’s a thing.

If your loco is in a consist, it may be responding to the leaders number and not its own. Or, the decoder could not be set to its number.

As astroknight said, is it in a consist? Consisted equipment does not like to move from layout to layout.

Break the consist on your layout, take it to the club and re-consist it there. Or, what I do is put all the locos in the set on the same channel number, no consist.
