Ok,

I have been reading magazines about the different ways rivers and waterfront scenes are made.

I made plaster gauze river sides and they are drying. Now, I am trying to figure out how to:

1. Paint the sides. (i.e.) color/latex or enamel (there will not be rocks on the sides)
2. Is dirt more seen then sand on the sides?
3. What is the best way to make simulated water?

Any suggestions would be truly helpful.

Thanks....
