my picture are on photobucket.

You have my deepest sympathy. Since the "upgrade" to the site nothing has been easy anymore. It used to be that you hovered over the pic you wanted to copy and paste, clicked the bottom line in the dropdown menu (it told you it had been copied) and then you went to the forum thread (go advanced) and pasted into the reply field.

Now (sometimes it will tell you it's copied) you've either got to go into settings to enable the quick copy feature, and it seems to me you have to do this with every damn picture, or just Ctrl-C the IMG link (easiest) in the panel to the right of your pic.

If you've got multiple albums stored on photobucket, good luck finding them all (still haven't found all of mine).

I feel like someone who has been mugged by someone I regarded as a friend.

Hi tootnkuomin,

are talking about photobucket's site are our site when you say go into "go advanced" and "setting" to do this.

I use photobucket. I select one photo at a time......then click on the IMG file type to the right of photo......as you click on it you will see it says copied........then with this thread open in another window you paste the copied link into your reply.

Well I just order my DCC system today, got the Digitrax super chief xtra system. I'll be building the west wall benchwork soon. When it is done I'll post a picture.:)

Progress update

Here are 2 photo's of the westwall benchwork, can't put the plywood down yet because there are grade differences between the main lines and the terminal yard in the center.

That looks like it is going to be one nice layout! Do keep us posted on your progress.

Some questions:

o What era are you going to model?
o What types of structures are you going to be building?
o What DCC system are you going to use?
o What track are you going to use?
o What make of turn-outs?

I get excited when I see a really nice plan like yours

Souds really nice. All industries I have an interest in. We are planning to expand our current setup and are going to do a lumber mill although I am sure yours will be prototypical. Since our layout is suspended 8' in the air and with an all wood trestle type setup, it has made all things a challenge and certainly not "life-like". I will be very interested to watch your progress.

Here is 2 pictures of the south wall of my benchwork. I will start laying roadbed and track on the north wall now and then wire it and check for shorts.

That is certainly coming along quite nicely. I wouldn't be able to use up my garage like this- too many 1:1 scale projects.

How are you planning on doing the removable section? Will it be hinged or lift-out?
