I have constructed some 40 HON3 cars and a couple of locos. However it occurred to me that one could scale cars and locos to run on N gauge track as a 3' narrow gauge. Turns out this works out to 1:100 scale, a very convenient conversion! I have test built now a narrow gauge boxcar and two cabooses from th WP&YR.

My question for those who are knowledgable about N is about the best trucks and couplers. Those with 36" wheels would be best suited. What about tango vs regular trucks and couplers.

I call it 100N3.
