ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

You Mississippi guys need to check out Cliff Powers layout in I think Brandon. Anyway, here's his layout link.

As to DCC recommendations, always find out what the majority in the area is using. That way you'll have a built "database" of folks who could help you with any problems you may have.

Meant to add; He has the cover and one of the articles in the new Model Railroad Planning Book from Kalmbach this year.
