My HO layout

Well,whatever model it is,it sure is powerfull!.....awaiting my C&NW AC4400...will be here in 2weeks time...
 


Any ideas yet?...I was thinking of Rio Grande for the 'unknown' loco & something like the picture(I dodn't know the scheme) for the SD40-2....
 
The scheme in the picture is of the Missouri Pacific RR.

What are you favorite colors Jannie? I can find a few schemes for you..
 
For the SD40-2:
C&NW or SP or Rio Grande or Burlington or like the pic

For the 'unknown' loco 1 of the above.....

I'm not picky when it comes to railways names...I like a variaty....

This will become my 'Left-flank' of the layout...which 'Right-flank' is on the otherside of the computer.....
 
Can someone please help me out with info on this diesel loco.....I gotta make handrails for it,but don't know what it's suppose to look like...any pics will be helpfull..thanx...J
 


Busy making handrails using copper wires...SD40-2 only had 1 missing....as for the 'unknown' loco,it's missing all it's rails
 
Finally got my hands on 'my long awaited loco'..AC4400..been wanting 1 since '96........also desided to paint my SD40-2 in C&NW colour scheme...to match my AC4400 ;)

Also note my newly acquired container handler......got it for free! :)
 
Some pics of what my layout looks like currently......a turntable & loco shed will soon fill the hole in the layout....aswell as some station buildings....
 
So I've made my very 1st couple of trees :)

Will be making some more tonight,but more 'pine' like....

Also scratch-build myself a sand-filling tower (outta plastic chocolate-holders,straws & wire) ;)

Thanx Greg...that loco is 'in the works' of being detailed etc....aswell as the SD40-2......

In the very near future I'll be getting a matching pair of BN GP-9's aswell as 2 GP40-2's (undec)....so keep watchin,as the layout will be taking shape ;)
Looks like I'll be running CNW & BN...havn't desided yet what I'll be doing with the F's & undec GP40-2's....
 


Putting my 'pine trees' together I use fairly straight twigs & then cut circle like pieces of 'scouring pads',then construct ''tree kebabs''...trim it to size & then spray it with dark green & brown paint & sprinkle some fine sponge fillings on it to give it a slightly speckled appearance...
