Anyone ever use these?
They look pretty good to me. I need a few hundred and I don't want to make them so I'm leaning toward these.
Haven't seen their trees in person, but the Ebay reviews are all good. Buy a set and see how you like them.
Finding suitable trees can be frustrating. I researched redwood trees years ago for the Sonoma Mountain RR (Northwestern Pacific RR). We anticipated needing 1,000 trees. We bought a bunch of different manufacture's trees and found most were too short or didn't resemble redwoods. Others were just too expensive. I built approx 400, most around 12" high for the layout before moving to Wyoming. I have built around 200 (4"-12") for my 5 Mile RR (North Pacific Coast RR) layout. It takes about 20 minutes to build a tree.

The best looking trees I ever saw were Canyon Scenics, Pete Vassler, the owner has retired. A layout scene from his website is what got me hooked on realistic forest scenery.
I just bought 350 trees for $350.
Your 20 minutes per tree would be more like 30 minutes at least for me. So I just saved myself 175 hours. I'd rather have the time than the $350.
