I'm a newbie here, and I've only been back in the hobby for about a year, after a 25-30 year hiatus (I started a company and then bought a big sailboat...). Layout is in a large secondary bedroom, so space is limited.
I'm contemplating the purchase and installation of a roundhouse, and the Model Masterpieces Colorado Midland caught my eye. But I'd like to know if I have enough room. I'm looking for the distance from the middle of a turntable to the end of the stall, and the approximate width of the stalls. I believe they are 10 degree stalls? Looking to be able to do this with straight tracks from the turntable. Also, they tend to be advertised as HON3, and I'm HO - will a light Mikado fit into it? It's likely to be the largest steamer I'll have in it. I model the early 30s. Yes, my first inclination was to ask "Colorado Midland", and he was gracious enough to share his dimensions.
Does anyone have either of these kits, either installed or in the box that would be willing to share this information with me?
Thanks in advance,
Bill
