> Can't someone do a dubbed version, or make up subtitles?

Wow, check out this model! We work really hard to make it accurate. Isn't it amazing? (repeat as needed...)

Hey, you did say "make up", right?

Joking aside, all the model cars and planes etc are what really impress me the most about this layout. Sure, the trains are very cool too, but you can find lots of DCC layouts. What you don't see are layouts with cars driving down the roads and airplanes taxiing out on the runways etc. That is amazing stuff!

It is almost complete, just a couple more weeks to go and it's the official opening to the public

For subtitles click on the CC in the little box on the you tube toolbar under the video

No chit chat in German just pure planes, some good camera angles in this video to :)

My two favorite hobbies: model rail, and commercial airlines.

And my favorite aircraft/airline: UPS MD-11 at 0:44

Someone is planning to build one just like it in the UK, or so i believe.
It's taken them best part of 10 years to build the place to what it is today in Germany so they have quite a tall expensive order on there hands.

Subtitles Click cc on the toolbar under the youtube video

Don't forget, click the CC just below the video but you will have to open it in a new window

i'm followin the video blog quite closley. my german is very basic and i'm not getting the majority of things but it is amazing to watch.

we are gearing up for another blitz vacation to Europe this summer. even thoough fast (only one week) last year's proved to be loads of fun. I'm heavily lobbying Hamburg to be included in the route for the upcoming one. if it all connects guess where i will spend at least half a day :)

My god. Did you guys see the size of the control room? It looks like its right up there with Union Pacifics control room in North Platte. That will give a whole new demension in an operating session.

This is one of those layouts that doesnt make the trains the star of the show. Which is kind of cool actually. Its literally like daily life right down in minnature and not just daily railroading in miniature.

I have always loved how they wanted every aspect of real world stuff involved. Police traffic stops, firefighters fighting and chasing fires, cars that use thier turn signals when they change lanes or turn down different streets, crime, etc. All those little things in life you never pay much attention too. That air port is absolutely amazing.

i'll have to brag - i'll be visiting miniatur wunderland on the 6th of July, :D reserved a spot at 9AM hour and allocated half a day for this (unless they will kick me out). i will also try and see if i can register for their "under the hood" look tour.
can't wait!

Anton when you have the video's playing there is a tiny little box under the video with CC in it, click on this and subtitles appear, it's on most of the videos but not all. It is a stunning place to visit though, i'm going to go when i can afford to

One thing they don't have is cars moving. Check the videos--all the moving vehicles are trucks and vans. I think the reason is that they need the vehicles to travel for a reasonable time before they run out of power, and an auto just can't hold a big enough battery. However, what they do have is pretty stupendous.
