I kinda hit a mental block on a HO layout the wife has ordered me to set up.
Ya the wife wants trains set up for Winter.

Bench work and track lay is not a problem, I have made a few larger N scale layouts with peco switches and flex track, helix's etc.

It will not be an operators layout, but a continious run display layout.
It will be 14' x 18" shelf with 36"x36" end modules. The 14' includes the 2) 36x36 modules.
It will be a logging/coal mine/saw mill setting with small steam switchers and short (1-6) car trains, but not narrow gauge.

As it will be small/short trains Min 16"-18" radius "should work" ?

Looking to run 2 trains continious, so maybe a simple loop for one, and a more complex for the other (helix, overunder, etc, hidden trach under, etc)

Problem is I am looking to do individual "scenes" (log mill, shop, small town, etc) and can figure out how to run 2 tracks through small mountain "scenes"

Can anyone doodle some idea's out ? thanks.

Nick

I am assuming that you can't think of how to run train twice through the scene.

Don't.

Make your end loops come back on the same track. Instead of a dog-bone your have a loop-to-loop.
