Just what I needed more rail cars but the deal was excellent

This set will get lots of tagging and some graffiti

One of the functions of the decoder keeps the locomotive from moving until it has gone through all the sound items of the loco starting up. You can toggle that feature off and the loco will move on command despite still doing the startup sounds. I don't know where that feature is but it's just one box that is checked for start-up noise or uncheck it to allow the loco to run right away.
Good thing the timing isn't prototypical. Starting up a steam loco from scratch can take hours.

Hi guys! It's been a while since I posted. I chatted with TomO about 3 weeks ago or so maybe longer. I recently got my wish list a finger flat car by Scale Trains.

It came with a custom load that may need some attention but it also came weathered. I am quite pleased with it. I paid 75 bucks for it including shipping. Tom says I did good! So, I am happy with it. I sure wish they would do another run on these. I would like to get 5 more of them.

Secret source says they are coming but maybe 2024 late. They are the #1 item on my latest search list, with 3 train shows coming up, one never knows!

I had placed my order with Class One Model Works last November for these depressed center flat cars. They finally arrived today along with a container well car and a couple containers. These are on a siding with an employee watching over them until a local freight picks them up.

I have some Athearn spine cars, haven't seen the Bowser ones but hear they are nice too. As for well cars I have some Walthers, but have taken a liking to Kato.
I have done 3 sets of Bowser spline cars. 2 of the 3 car set and 1 of the 5 car set. IMO they are much superior to the Athearn 3 car set I had weathered. They weigh more and they tracked better out of the box.

I have also weathered many well cars but none of them seemed far above the others. I have not done a Kato set yet. I do have a client who likes the Walthers Proto well cars but I recently purchased a 5 car set of the Athearn’s RTR ?? and they are just as nice and track very well

I held off doing a pre-Oder and glad I did. HomeShopsLLC has a line of the Class One depressed flats coming for but painted for private model railroads. I have a friend who freelances the Michigan Interstate and I will be ordering from HomeShops.net this week.

Any issues with your cars, they look great
