Interesting. I wonder how much work the steam locomotive was doing compared to the diesel behind it. It wasn't putting out much smoke.

Not a lot of work to do there. 5 light weight passenger cars. Either of those locomotives could pull them without putting out too much effort. If it is like when the UP runs their steam, the diesels in the consist are mainly in case of break down.
