Lionel Santa Fe 2-10-10-2 Vision Edition Whistle Smoke

Can not seem to get whistle smoke to work. The blowdown worked for a while and it has quit as will. Any thoughts?

The manual says I should be able to adjust the level but does not give the command?

Well when all else fails, try resetting the chip per the manual. Adjusting the levels shouldn't affect whether it works or not. Either it does or it don't, then you can adjust the level once it's working again.

Good suggestion but no joy. Still no smoke from whistle or blow down. Although when I lift the smoke hatch smoke comes out of there. Could the lines to the whistle and blow down be plugged or vapor locked?

yeah they could be blocked by vapor/bubble...they r very small and thats a common problem with the regular smoke stack output......
