Added this free-lanced SW1500 to the fleet this week. It'll get detailed and painted back up.

Thanks Kevin, but I can't take the credit. This is what it looked like as I got it from Ebay. I tore it all aprt tonight and will really do it up now. Then I can credit for it. ;)

The latest 2 acquisitions for my fleet. First up and ex-ConRail MP15 now in GATX patch.

Then we have an AMTRAK MP15 in the Phase V paint scheme.

Both are Atlas Master Series.

Work continues on this Southern Platte SW1500 (almost basket case). It had a lot of glue everywhere that I've been trying to remove. The cab had to be replaced due to glued in lenses, number boards etc, and both pilot ends had to be totally cleaned off.

Well a step forward, 2 steps back. As with all old decals that weren't applied correctly, this is what happens even after sealing them down with a layer of Gloss-coat. The tape was stronger and won. I'm in the process of re-making the lettering now. The other side isn't too bad.

uhhhhh, oooops!

Since I've been layed up the last week and a half, I tried to fix this SW up. I rescued the decals as best as I could. She didn't turn out too bad looking.

That looks fantastic Jerome. That black and white reminds me of the PHL scheme.

I must ask though, and maybe its been answered, but why the attraction to switchers?

Kevin, Thank you, I didn't think I'd be able to save this one after the decals came off. I do like the clean black and white look to it. I think this one won't get weathered for awhile.
