Whilst I love the Gorre & Daphetid Railroad, I grew up reading about Madder Valley Railway. It is still in operation. A few years back I had the pleasure of seeing it.

I didn't have the funds but should would have like to purchase the Queen Elizabeth / Concorde package back in the 1980s. Sail NYC to Southhampton and fly back on the Concorde.

I would head out to Glacier National Park. Money isn't the issue, it's the time.

I would stay in the lodge next to the depot and day trip for a week or more.

Maybe when I am "old".

Used to haunt that place when I was a kid. That was back when the layout was 2-rail O-scale, run by a huge bank of relays! The new HO layout is fantastic, but I liked it when they had the old layout. My grandparents lived just a few blocks away from the museum. I used to ride the Pioneer Zephyr for real. Now it is a museum piece...like me, I guess...
