Wow! I made it in a magazine. I submitted my pictures to Canadian Railway Modeller a while back (last year? can't remember) and its now done!

I feel humble and exhilarated at the same time:) :D

Whoa! I hope I do their magazine justice.

For those of you who like to know it's in the
Canadian Railway Modeller, Train 15, Track 6, October-November 2007 issue

Here's a peek...

Did not make the cover however...

I'm happy nevertheless.

Cheers

Yeeeeeeeeeee-haw! :D Lemme pour you a beer to celebrate!

Do you plan to go for the NMRA's Model Railroad Author certificate now?

Well done MLW, congratulations, a definite achievement. In my humble opinion your work (modeling) is worthy of being published in any of the model magazines.
Again, " Well Done!"

Cheers Willis

Congrats MLW! I'll have to look for a copy at my LHS. Now you can aim for some of those big US publications.

Mark, the mag is available in Ontario.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the kind comments. 2 sections of the layout (extension) are almost done, even with my busy schedule. Maybe there will be a "sequel" to it too:D

The magazine is available anywhere in Canada and in most place in the US

Thanks again

Very nice pics and article from what I can see of it. Can you post the pics from the article here or are you under contract? I seriously doubt I'm going to find a copy of Canadian Railway Modeller down here in Dixie. :)

Looking forward to seeing your article, haven't received my copy yet. I can still recall the thrill I got when my first photo was published too! It was in MR's Trackside Photos, way back in 1983. A friend who got the mag in the mail called me to tell me about it, and I drove over to his house on the far side of town at lunchtime just to see it!

I still enjoy seeing my photos in print, but probably not as much as that first one. Over 800 of mine have been printed since then. Lotsa fun and getting paid for it too!

Fan-friggin-tastic! Buy copies and give them to your relatives. :D

One day you'll see me in a mag...

congratulations. its really cool to have your setup featured. I remember when my Jeep made a magazine cover I was so proud.
