For a while this AM it seemed like the whole internet was down. Not sure if it is hackers, sunspots or what. Took me about ten attempts to get them to verify that I'm human! Or maybe they found out my third cousin thirteen times removed was...Romulan (oops!)

Not been a particularly good day: went to start my car about dinner time, and it was dead! Worse, it kept the lights on, and the display kept telling me to start the car to turn things off! Concerned about possibility of fire in my garage, so I disconnected the battery cable. Can't even back it out to try and jump it...transmission locks up when engine not running. Blasted modern batteries don't give you the weak indications the old lead/acid ones did. When these sealed jobs die, they just go! Have to call the dealer tomorrow and see if they can bring out a new battery...IF that's the problem.

Find someone with one of those jump start battery boxes. They work great and will let you see if the battery is the issue. I have one I bought at Costco, it’s handy.
