Chris wants more hobby time!!!
Coming along nicely

I am going to add a 1” straight between two 1/4s of the 24” radius curves, that will bump that outside track out to 24 1/2, step the track out 1/2 inch at the location and I think it will be negligible, anyone ever do that before?

Yes that is what I was suggesting a few posts ago. Add a straight to the outside curve, or subtract a straight from before entering the inside curve to "loosen" the distance between curves, and also exactly what I did on Resneu's plan to expand the distance between rails.
Very similar, have to get more foam tomorrow, but inching ahead. Greatly appreciate everyones help for sure !
More progress
I need visitors soon to help drink beer…..lol

Good morning Iron Horseman,
Do you recall if this track plan configured properly; and what the radius of these tracks in the red box were ?

The one curve takes only three sections to make 90 degree curve. So those would have to be 18" radius.
The other between the turnouts looks to be a 1/3 18"; a 22"; a 1/2 18"; a 22"; and a 1/3 18". That is a fairly common way to emulate a 20" curve.
Thank you,
I suspected it was 18, my 22 just weren’t fitting right
A nice far yard, some industry slowly coming together.
Double steam moving this morning!
I was able to get to the LHS yesterday for some more flex and curves, I was then able to get my outer loop in. Not powered fully yet as my soldering onto rail joiners did not go as well as planned. Nice and warm here today, so then went for a nice drive along the east coast to Mahone Bay. What a perfect day! These pics were not taken by me, my wife has our camera right now out at her girlfriends.
Looking good Gary!
But wait… where’s the snow in the second pic?!
If that’s what it actually looks like in Halifax in February you are herby forbidden to post such photos while the rest of us are up to our yarbles in snow!

I only took a picture looking out the Bay today, and yes when I got home, I was still chiseling ice out of the driveway from last week. Shade in front of the house. I had to grab a couple pics from the Mahone Bay tourism site. We always park in front of the churches and enjoyed our coffee and croissant enjoying the Sunshine and the view out the bay.
HMCS Hammonds Plains is coming along nicely

Gary - is the boat going on the layout?
But of course, dual purpose, resting place is the Halifax Navy yard, OPERATION AREA will be the lake behind my house. Propeller and motor are lying in the holds now.
A few more accessories this week and a guns crew !
Latest track plan attempts and ship has now been cut into the water area where I will focus on this small area for now.
