How to remove the side frames on a Kato SD80mac?

I'm trying to weather the wheels but I can'y get the frames off, any advice thanks in advance

Once you download, you will see an exploded view of the truck itself. The bottom plate on the truck has latches that need to be gently released with a straight blade screwdriver. This should release the whole truck - wheels, side frames, etc. This should get you where you want to go...
