Hi. Thank for the Welcome . I am Running just about anything I can afford to Buy. No set era yet. But I am more interested in Steam Locos. The Usual suspects on this Layout. Pacific's, Alco's, GP Units, . I think you get the Picture. lol

Do as I do when I'm not familiar with a place. If the poster has given you a city/town/state, in marriedshades case, Peabody ks. Go to Google maps, type in Peabody ks, USA and you'll find he's in Kansas (ks), right slap, bang in the middle of the mid-west.
The Mid West is basically the area in the middle of the country and toward the western seaboard a little, basically anyway.
This might help

I didn't know Alaska was down by Hawaii
Shhhh ... neither did they!
Hi Rod. Thanks for the welcome. HO is my scale of choice. Might get to post a few photos. as I need guidance when it comes to doing details with scenery. cheers
Anthony,
Post pictures - lots of them, we love pictures!

Hi Anthony, Welcome to the forum/s for sure. As has been said, it's a great forum with many very knowledgeable guys
and a few ladies too. There is plenty of knowledge to be had so don't be afraid to ask or inquire about what your not sure of or just want more info on.
Many are in HO but it all depends on the space you have as well as how small you feel you can easily model in as well as what equipment you plan on operating.
Take care and enjoy the forum.

Why sure Toot, I figured a ray of wisdom should make you realize they're just below California, Arizona and not too far from Texas, Maps don't lie. LoL
