Now, my goal is to have my first full size operation session around Nov 22nd, 2025 which will be 10 years since I started.

Nice! Looks a lot like Walthers Heritage Furniture background building. I hope you keep posting your progress on it!
They are paper embossed which I bought on Ebay. I've been using them since 2017.

I started working on the windows. Having glazed windows, I will be able to see the light through it without having to do any interiors.

You're coming up on the 9 year anniversary soon. I wasn't commenting on posts back then because I was still in the working class and didn't have much time, but I have been following you since the beginning.

Break time on the buildings.
I will be getting my missing switch on Monday so I can complete the track work. For now, it's under the layout doing some wiring, testing the tracks and painting them.

Wow, it's been almost 6 months since my last post, so I'll try to make a short resume.
First, I've been cruising in October and January and spend time in Texas visiting my brother and 6 layouts. I also visited friends in Palm Desert and visited the Coachella Valley Model railroad.
Now as for my layout, since my last post in August, this is what as been done.:
September, I prepared and gave a clinic to our NMRA division on different material to use for buildings, such as wood, hydrocal, card stock and plastic. Not much was done on the layout except that I started working on a crew lounge, which I hope to have finish by August 2025, in time for my first operating session in November.
This will be the future 10' x 14' crew lounge
October, before leaving on vacation, I had 10 people visit my layout in two shifts on a Saturday,.
November, I did some work on my paper mill street.
Lance Mindheim posted on his blog about a method which made my life easier, since I'm not a paint artist. It was all about using pictures and not only for streets but also buildings. He also wrote an article in MRH in January 2012.
Basically, it's pictures of a streets, manipulated in Photoshop, printed on matte photo paper and glued to styrene with double sided tape, weathering will come later.
December, I invited people for a "working Christmas party". Five people came over, some did 2 and 3 hour driving, we had lots of fun. Besides work, food was served and I was the "gofer", you know, go for this and go for that. On the agenda was demolition, electrical, layout wiring and track problem solving.
January was a cruise vacation before real work (real job) which is my two biggest month of the year, but still manage to do something different than my layout. I've built two Free-Mo modules that will have a street running and I practice to do model street running. The modules have folding legs and adjustable legs that can be set from 43" to 54".
This will be the looks of my street running.
Sorry, for this long post, but it's been almost 6 months, I'll try to post more often.
No vacation until November, I need to get lots done before my first operating session.
That is how I'll celebrate 10 years in this hobby.

One more wall to go, but I need to do my track work to locate the building and then do the last wall.
For now two more walls done and the detail work as started, such as the window sills, the iron bracket holding up the bricks above the openings and the small details.

The back wall will be done once the track is installed because of the angle the building will have.

I don't particular like working on electricity, but it sure makes for a beautiful scene. More lighting to come.

The lighting is completed, a total of 10 LED's in all.
Next are the roof details and then gluing the roof to the building.

This building is progressing rapidly, always easier the more you do. I've finished the windows, some will be see through with lights.
Assembling as started and hope to finish this one by the end of the weekend.
