Thank you I really appreciate the comments.

It was a hard decision for me though being called a know it all was the final push. But as you know about a year earlier I had mentioned locking the thread as I thought it had run its course. I do though regret the decision that I asked Terry to lock it. But at times I realize it was lots of work because I tried to keep it updated. If you look at the 1st 10 pages and then the last 10 pages there was lots of evolution in between. Lots of great interactions.

My stroke in 8/2024 took a lot out of me physically but more so on the mental side. I literally couldn’t remember how to weather but I re-read the thread a few times and started practicing but I’ve lost much of the creativity that I used to weather rolling stock! Pictures are a great inspiration but you still have to do the physical action to translate it to the model.

The last year has turned really into weathering a few diesels, designing 2 paper mills, building and weathering a slew of railroad bridges and finally starting to build the structures for the paper mills. I’ve done some fading of freight cars and messing up the trucks and wheels but nothing that’s worthy of photos.

I have been using Ai to interpret prototype pictures, give me color matching and ratios as even 2 years later that the most difficult task I have. That was second nature in the old days but I am not complaining
