I have a few cars here of various makes that make up a reasonable (SP) Golden State train consist. Don't have any diesels to pull it though
Does anyone know if they ever used the daylight diesels to pull it. It was in partnership with Rock Island when it ran
Did a google search but couldn't come up with anything definitive on the subject
They used E7 diesels in a GS livery it would seem (

Thanks for the info mate that really helped. Appears to be OK to use Daylight diesels for power
