Just got some palm trees and the trunk and branches are very shiny. Any tips on getting off the shininess?
Thanks
Stan
I am not 100% sure but you could try a little very light grit sand paper or maybe spray them with dullcote or matte medium, which would be a heck of a lot easier. I'm sure the other guys will give you better advice though, or at least a more definitive answer.
Any flat clear coat, like krylon will dull any gloss finish and give a great base for weathering regardless of the item i.e. loco shells building's etc. basically any thing with a gloss finish can then be detailed.
Thanks guys. I wondered about a flat clear spray. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone.
