Tank locomotive, Wyoming Depot in the background. This is my new layout, the backdrop is the new one as well. The weathering on the Western Pacific box car turned out perfect, in my eyes. Not sure how that happened.

They are still in service, but not with SBB. I forget the railroad. They are now known as the Re 446.

The chances of seeing one were pretty slim since they only built four of them.

Taken while running trains the other day. A Wisconsin River Valley Sd40-2f is assembling train #PMY2x for a trip to Stevens Point, Wi.

Nice medium college town with the great CN yards that were easy viewing. A few miles north is where we lived from 1976 to 2014

I think you're right. There's an Inter City Express on the tracks to the left, and that is a German signal on the right.

My new 0-6-0 came today, first new locomotive I have purchased in 10 years (or more)

Not super big on detail, but runs smooth and quiet, also will be doing the smoke thing occasionally:

I have two Bachmann locomotives, I have been working over the 4-4-0 and that has smoothed out quite a bit.

It definitely looks better...i would just square away that roof still, it looks it's not completely on the cab. Also, i'd put some dark rust on the roof to hide that shine.
