A Sd40-2f in freelance Wisconsin River Valley colors is being shown off for a visiting RAilroad’s mechanical department

The new freelance Wisconsin Interstate is finalizing the purchase of the Wisconsin River Valley and Terminal RR and has a limited need for 6 axles in Central Wisconsin based on the WC/CN’s Valley Sub. While 2 Sd70ace’s are coming to the WCIS the older WRVT RR Sd40f’s can be sold off. Unit 9010 is the last of its kind on the WRVT RR

A Bowser unit with ESU sound a great runner but hopefully on its way to a home that has a need for it

Here's the real one standing in Cumberland:View attachment 218406
I just couldn't get any better shot with it. Picture taken on the last Saturday in April.
They must keep them washed because I've seen videos where they look dirty then later it's clean. I thought the dates were off but the trees in the background showed the time difference between summer and fall.

This F series diesel is standing in Gorham, New Hampshire for several decades now. I'm not sure if that newer style Boston and Maine front painted door was applied while the locomotive was still in service, but it wouldn't be the first time when mismatched pannel, or door was put on working locomotive by the shop forces.

Underneath the earlier scheme, blue is showing, so the whole unit might have been sporting the McGinnis version of B&M at one time. While it's nice to look at fully restored equipment in a museum, pieces like this really bring a sense of history to ones mind.

I have this photo from my past life perched above my desk, I think I may actually still have a few parts left.

I should mention this wasn’t one of mine, I just salvaged some parts before Mr. Torch got to it.
I love pictures that make it seem that I am trackside. Well done guys!

I took some pictures for FeF before I left for the travels. I forgot yesterday was Friday!!!
