ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.
It was an intentional photograph. I invited an aspiring photographer over with a very nice camera to take shots of the layout, just before the tear down. As 95% of the shots were not very well executed, a couple passed muster, this being one of them.
As remuneration, a salvageable part of the layout went to their young son, who loved model railroads.
Thanks for all you guys for keeping this going sorry haven’t been around been busy with life at the moment. Here’s my late entry of my Weaver O scale RS-3. If I’ve posted this before I’m sorry.

Of course. In fact the left end of the next one down the line (and its guy wire) can be seen just above the "r" in Amtrak on the side, so, yeah: platform lights.
I will admit to actually wondering for a few moments (wondering for real), if it wasn't some new, modern-funky pantograph design for a locomotive that runs the northeast corridor...but a quick check of other "images for Amtrak 303" put that to rest.
