This thing can charge both AA& AAA, will recharge a 1.2 2800mAh in less than 2 hours.

Runs off house voltage.
can mix AA & AAA or 8 of each at a time

Pep: Be careful with that thing. I would put it on top of something that does not burn. Also, the faster you charge any battery, the [higher] current used generates more internal heat. That heat will degrade the battery lifetime. Sooner or later, not able to charge. LI's are another issue, heat is one of the causes of big booms!

The battery only gets warm, nothing unusual. All rechargeable batteries degrade; that is a fact. The same applies to electric cars.
