I'm the one
Hi Guys,

Anyone know of an email address for MB Klein (modeltrainstuff.com)? I know they have an F&Q thing, but would prefer to deal directly with them if possible.

Looking at their 'contact us' page, it appears that they prefer you to call them. They have their local number, and a toll free one listed. But I didn't see an e-mail address listed.

Thanks Casey, I saw that too but trying to call them (anyone) with my cell service - would be better off standing outside and yelling!

From their support page, just click on "submit a request". Further communication will be just via email. The reason they do it that way is that the website will send you a confirmation email that you have to respond to in order to get them to reply. I would imagine it's a spam-reduction tool, but once you fill out that first web form you'll be communicating with them just like any other email.

Actually, my riding mate believes that everything happens for a reason, and I am beginning to think he is right. The only reason I wanted to email them was to see if they sold or could get Tru Color paint, that is now not necessary. In short, not being able to contact them via email of the bat has saved me time, so it worked out for the better.

Your explanation regarding contacting them by email is nice to know though, should I need to in the future.

Hey Tony,

That is a big oversight not putting the email on the contact page, but I know they are happy to help.

[email protected]
that is the first email address I had for them, they put me in touch with their Lionel guy.

Ask them for the email for the HO guys or what ever department you need.

They have been just as good at answering my questions through email as they have been on the phone.

When I tested that email address I was sent this auto response

You beat me to it. They have excellent customer service. I have contacted them by both phone and e-mail in the past and they have been more than helpful. They are on the top of my list for MRR supplies, even living in Montana.

Thanks guys, appreciate what you have done.

Have to say that if MB Klein's customer service is as good as their ordering and shipping service, then I am sure they will be great to deal with on the phone or via email.

Have to agree with montanan - they are the first people I go to for my stuff as well.

I had a problem with my big boy & they sent me a return ups label
& i had my replacement in 10 days , great customer service

Just don't call them this Saturday. This is the weekend for the summer Great Scale Train Show at the Timonium, Maryland fairgrounds. Though not as big as the fall, winter and spring shows it will make the MB Klein store busy, as its right down the street from the fairgrounds and many who attend the show on Saturday, also stop at MB Klein as well.

I have never had a problem with MB Klein, they are a great company. Used their "Contact Form" for a question and got an honest reply within 24 hours. I swear by them as a provider.
