Hello, ttc, and welcome aboard. There's no doubt that e-bay does have a great selection and sometimes great prices. I wouldn't not use e-bay just for the occasional problems that crop up. The most important thing is to know what you want and know how much it's worth so you don't get caught up in bidding wars.
 
grrr, i just checked my watch page. 2 blue box units are almost $30 while the new rtr version, albeit, Metro North is still untouched at $60. Plus a guy on one of the yahoo boards is selling a fully superdetailed unit for $60 and its rtr.

I just dont get what people are doing on ebay.

If anyone knows somone that is friends of someones roomate, can they help me find some older blue box athearn amd103, p42's.
