Purchased a Digitrax Evolution Starter set 10 days ago. Got it set up per instructions, with isolated Programing track, and Main Line. Put a New Walther Loco on Progamming track, Set it up following ESU instructions for that decoder. Put it back on Main line nothing. Put a New Athearn loco on Programing track with a Digitrax decoder, Sei it up following Digitrax instructions. Put it on Main line again nothing happens. Contacted Digitrax Help Desk, been working with them for 7 days to correct the issue of nothing working. So far all their suggestions have not helped. Do you think it might be time to return the Command Station and Throttle to them for repair? I’m so frustrated at this point!

I think I would start out with a voltohm meter to see if you're getting power out of the command station. Disconnect the track from it first then measure.

Has anything worked on the main? Do you have any way to see where there is power and where there isn't? Like, Ken said, I'd start with a voltmeter or at least a test light.

Kid, I tested the track, I do have power.
Programming in OP mode on program track. When I press “Read” the throttle say “Reading CV” but it never stops or says it’s complete.

Some decoders don't play well with the "Read decoder" function.
OK, ya have track power. That is a major good thing.
What address are you programming?
When your loco is on the mainline, did you also try address 3?

HO Scale Athearn Nickel Plate Road GP-35 Diesel road number 910. It is DCC Quick-Plug Equipped. I’m using a Digitrax decoder DH165L0. Programming 2 digit address 10, and 4 digit address 910. Try all 3 programmig modes 1,2 &3. Once programming I’d done, set the loco on main line and it takes off, and I have no control of it.

OK. Put the loco back on the programming track and check the speed tables, both of them.
Look for the setting of the first speed step. Should be around 1 or 2.
Also, check the acceleration and braking settings. Should be no more than 5.

If you're going to use 4 digit addressing, stop adding 2 digit addresses to it. It's one or the other.
Reset the decoder when you get home, program address 910, then set cv 29 to 34. Let us know.
