What? No tarring, feathering or running him out of town on a rail (see what I did there) for such a fiendish transgression?

Is this still the internet?? :p

I know how you feel, patriot. Every time it's ever happened to me, I'm sure it bothered me more than anyone else.

Thanks, RCJunction,
I'm glad to know others have done the same thing. I'll try my best not to repeat. I don't feel so badly now.
Thanks for your reply,

Which post are you trying to delete. give me a link, or thread title with the post number and I'll have a look

Willis
It's on the Model Railroad Forum, N Scale, but don't know how to get the info to you as requested. It's titled "Stevensville, Colorado Update". The "WATCH" post is okay. They're the ones that don't preface with "WATCH" that I can't seem to delete.

OK I see the confusion, you cannot delete a thread especially if another member has posted on it However you may delete your posts and they will appear as deleted. There are good reasons for this in the software linking (for example the search function) however if no one else has posted on it, it can be removed by a moderator
I have closed the thread no one can post on it and it will soon disappear menus. In regard to deleting a post click on EDIT POST then some more options will appear at the lower right of the screen, just click on DELETE
Hope that helps a bit :D

Just had another look the "N" Scale forum and deleted the other Stevensville, Colorado Update thread

Willis, thank you so much for your help. I THINK I understand, but seems to be more complicated than it should. Suppose there are good reasons for the protocol. Hope I learned something and doesn't happen again. I really do appreciate your help, and thanks again.

Willis, thank you so much for your help.
You're welcome, that's why we are here. If you have a problem just click on my name "CBCNSfan" anywhere on the forum and then on the "Drop Down Menu click on "Private Message" and the rest is the same as posting on the forums.
