I need to find a longer cable to connect my DB150 to a UP3 panel, the one that you get with the system is too short, any suggestions. Normal phone cables do not work. Thanks............
I believe cat5 cable will work for you.
If that's for digitrax it's a dual line phone cable. Not sure what the exact name is but my whole layout is strung with those. It's not a cat5
I buy DigiTrax LocoNet cables as custom order from the local train store.
They do ship products (phone and on-line orders) so if you can't find a source their web site is:

If you want to make the cables yourself then DigiTrax has the information on which connectors and the wiring.

You can probably get the connectors (RJ12), wire(6-conductor) and crimp tool (required for proper assembly) from Radio Shack or Telecomm installer or other electronic supplier (like DigiKey).
