I have been planning to try painting some CSX units and noticed that some of there cab roofs are white but not all are. Is this just a paint job or something to do with the gps stuff etc. I have been looking at several photos and cant tell for sure. Thanks
 
It varies from unit to unit, best way to be sure is to go to some online place like rrpicturearchives.net and look up the unit# you want to model.

The roofs are painted white to reflect the sunlit and keep the cab from getting unbearably hot. Couldn't afford rooftop A/C units like NS uses.
