This is right above the longest and biggest lava tube in the world, Cueva de los verdes, it runs from Corona volcano in the background and continues for 5000ft under the atlantic ocean. the diameter of the main tube is 50ft+ in places and when you think the lava flowed through at around 12mph, thats a serious amount of new earth being created

This was scary stuff, you stand right on the edge and look down about 80ft, but it's an illusion, it's a pool of water thats reflecting the cave above, had me fooled for a minuet

over all its not bad, girlfriend was stuck in the airport for an extra hour today. She was up for Valentine's day/her birthday yesterday and was flying back to fla for school. The roads aint that bad but then again I went to college in western NY in the snow belt so a little snow on the road don't bother me.

82 degrees today in sunny SoCal. Rain predicted for this weekend. Sunday is the only maybe dry day so NASCAR might get to run.

Chris - How much is the monthly fee in Florida for a weekly lawn cut and bush manicure, front yard only? I pay $60 in SoCal. Is Jose ripping me off?

Drew- This new snow is making things a real mess up here, hows things down south?

Fixing for a warm up down here. This weekend they promiss 70+ degrees and just purrfect sunny weather! Sunday we're going to BG and see Huey Lewis and the News concert! the past few mornings have been nippy 32*-40* range with afternoons in the 60's. But like I said, we been promised a warm up..........I'm in for that! BTW: two more months and it will be swimming weather again!:D

ROFLMAO! Now you got to remember our cost of living is way, way cheaper here! I mow, weed eat, edge walk ways and blow off the clippings from the concrete and you ain't got to worry about INS nabing me before I finish the yard work!!!!!. $15-$20 per 8,000 sqft yard. add $5-$10 for the hedges depending on how many there is! You can rent a 2-2-1house for $500-$800 a month! so cost of living justifys the areas rates Greatly! Just to make you sick, I just got a 70'x100' account, Basic service the guys yearly is going to be around $400+/- $50 or so depends on how much extra stuff he has me do? Now you can vomit!

Chris- 2 more months up here and the pool might be 60*. I should move south with my grandparents, they leave to go look at houses in NC/SC on thursday :p

Drew- Theres at least 4 inches out there right now and its not slowing up at all. I woke up this morning and could see the grass, now its white again.

I can live with it. LOL. The front is probably around 4,000 sq.ft. I do the backyard myself as I think it's important to get some exercise.

Maybe I'll get with him and tell him I know a guy that will do it for $30 and see what he says. :D

WINTER BLONDE

As a trucker stops for a red light, a blonde catches up. She jumps out of her car, runs up to his truck, and knocks on the door.
The trucker lowers the window, and she says

"Hi, my name is Rachel and you are losing some of your load."

The trucker ignores her and proceeds down the street.

When the truck stops for another red light, the girl catches up again.
She jumps out of her car, runs up and knocks on the door.

Again, the trucker lowers the window. As if they've never spoken, the blonde says brightly, "Hi my name is Rachel, and you are losing some of your load!"

Shaking his head, the trucker ignores her again and continues down the street.

At the third red light, the same thing happens again.

All out of breath, the blonde gets out of her car, runs up, knocks on the truck door. The trucker rolls down the window. Again she says "Hi, my name is Rachel, and you are losing some of your load!"

When the light turns green the trucker revs up and races to the next light.

When he stops this time, he hurriedly gets out of the truck, and runs back to the blonde.

He knocks on her window, and after she lowers it, he says...

"Hi, my name is Bob, it's winter in Minnesota and I'm driving the

SALT TRUCK!"

Maybe I'll get with him and tell him I know a guy that will do it for $30 and see what he says. :D

Warning! If your guy's got plenty of account's lined up, and he's got enough calls comming in he my tell ya to hire him! I been there done that!;) Best way to know what the average Mowing cost should be....Hang out at a mower shop and talk to a few landscape guys as they walk in and ask! You can get a rough average what it should cost! Pedro might be cheaper and then again he might not! Florida the going rates for 7,000Sqft basic package is $15-$25 or $500-$600 a year....Just depends on the guy doing the work. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!;)

okay, if we're doing blonde jokes...

Three blondes are out hiking in the countryside.

they come across a set of tracks.
first blonde says, WOW. these are pretty big tracks, wonder what left those. wolves, maybe?

second blonde says, nnnnoooo, they're too big for wolves maybe mountain lions???

by now they're standing on the tracks and looking at them disappearing into the distance.

third blonde says, hmm. maybe they're BEAR tracks.
and then.....

ready?

swallow your coffee first.

they were all run over by the train.

My favorite place in florida is in San Antonio! that is some nice country out there! The cows and Horses seem to love it anyways!:D Only reason I said Orlando....Matt is young he'd like it!;):p Another county exploding at least it was is Citrus County. St.Pete/Largo/Clearwater area is way to congested for my taste. That area the Villages is in is sweet too! Either way I love Florida!:):p

Ill have to pass on Florida and any other state that doesnt have mountians, i may be a young guy, but at heart im a country boy, my place is in the mountians, ill take snow, just give me farmland, mountians and woods to explore with it :D. When we cruise we usually leave out of San Juan, but when we left from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, it was fun, nice to leave and return from the states. My dad goes to Orlando in the spring, and i think mom wants her and us kids to tag along as well.

Well if nothing else comes out of this storm, the dogs seemed to have fun.

Jim will provide the gory details when he posts here later this evening.
