Looks like we have nasty weather moving in tomorrow. There's a 30% chance tonight and tomorrow morning then in the afternoon the winds will shift to the north and the chance of rain goes up to 80% for Monday afternoon and night then to 90% for Christmas Day. Looks like it's gonna be a WET Christmas. The high is due to be around 70 both days.

Gave my nephew a little help today on dropping the tranny from his 4X4, mostly holding wrenches on nuts and bolts that wanted to turn as the other end was being turned. He in turn loosened the oil filter on my van so I could change it out. He said I had weak hands and arms until he tried to loosen it. He grabbed it and twisted. He turned while the filter remained stationary!:p:p:D He had to get a mallet to hit the wrench a couple of times to break it loose.
 


Morning gang!

Playing one of Santa's helpers today. loading up the sleigh (truck) and delivering the grandsons train layout. Luckily it breaks down in 2 sections, which allows it to a) 2 tier load in my truck and b) fit down their basement staircase!

After that, We have nothing on the schedule til the 26th, when the rest of my family gets here. Then a few days of excitement, as my sister from Carolina is staying with us, with her Rhodesian Ridgeback.:eek:

Kitties are just gonna have to deal with it!:eek:

Good morning. It's 60° with 99% humidity. Mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy later with a chance of rain. Expecting a high of 70°.

Well it looks like we'll have some decent weather today at least until late afternoon/early evening when the wind shifts and the chance of rain jumps up to 80% and the bottom drops out!

No plans for today other than doing some cleanup on the layout once in a while. I still have to get a few things together so I can get back to work on the grain elevator.

Don't know. His last day oin the site was November 24th. Could be his computer fried or he's got some important matters that needed his attention.

Current temp (8:00AM) is 77F with 65% humidity, Forecast high is 89-90F.
 
I may not be able to get online later so I'm making this post now.

Currently it's 65 here and partly cloudy here. However the weather guessers are saying the weather is going to get rather severe later. It's peaceful enough right now. The primary threats are damaging straight line winds and tornadoes. Large hail is also possible, especially with the first storms. This severe weather is expected to end tomorrow afternoon. Chance for rain tonight is 80%, tomorrow 90%. No word on expected wind speeds. Santa better have his wet weather gear!

If you don't hear from me later you know what happened.
