It's not the same guy that came and sabotaged your locos etc, is it?
I don't believe so. That guy wasn't as smart as this one.

I got started today programming in the properties and homes of Paradise Cove (Native Fury part III). I got both the property (front, back, side yards) and the home at 120 Nelson Street programmed in and I got the property at 302 Nelson Street programmed in. Tomorrow I'll do the home. And that's just getting started. There are about two dozen properties and homes. Ouch! My poor fingers!

Well it's time for me to call it a night. I'll see y'all tomorrow.

Evenin' all. A little warmer today than the past few days. That southwest wind made it a PITA to spray paint my homebuilt turnouts.

The quarterly Timonium Show is the main attraction here this weekend, but I didn't get there today; not as much fun without money to spend, and I wanted to get these problem turnouts replaced on my layout. One thing I learned: The process of building a FastTracks turnout is much easier than trying to fit one into pre-existing trackwork. That took me a heluva lot longer than I expected, and it's left me totally exhausted! I might go up to Timonium tomorrow and see how many friends I'll run into. I know Karl's at the white elephant table.

Jeff - miscreants like the $0B that mail-bombed you are an unfortunate reality. But at least there's one thing you have that they haven't got: a LIFE!

Time for some shut-eye

Looks like it's gonna be wet today. Feels like it too.

I was working on the Paradise Cove module (Native Fury part III) and I say without a doubt that there are trains in Paradise Cove! In separate bedrooms too. I submit my evidence below.

I knew I'd eventually get trains into this!

No other news for now.

The car has returned from it's nightly junket.

Sunny and 54* degrees before noon. Could we possibly hit 60* today? That would be nice for cutting lumber outside and changing anti-freeze in truck. Lots of great train stuff deals on flea-bay today ending with zero bids. I've already spent my hobby allowance for this month.

Good afternoon guys,
It's a sunny but plesant day out my way, not too much new to report at this time other than ready to start getting the last curved turn-out built that will be needed to open up the upper main line to allow the Whiskey siding, along a cliff to be laid as well as inner main line. I've been detained for too long and ready to get going.

Say Jeffrey: It really is unfortunate that some have to be so critical. Your photography is very good and I find your layout rather interesting as you keep creating new things to it so don't so don't get dismayed by one persons comments or actions.

Speaking about your layout, are you back at your place yet, I imagine your getting around much better by now?

Take care and all have a good day and new week.

Hello everybody. .... Our weather ( I guess wether is today's main topic) was a perfect fall day with sunshine and mid-6o's temperature. ..... So, I did outside stuff this afternoon. The garage got its spring cleaning even though it was fall. .... I did run some trains this evening.

Cheers!

I did a lot of work on the Paradise Cove program module today but it doesn't amount to much when compared to the overall size of the module. Let's see if I can put it a way that everyone can understand.

Below is a property block. You'll notice in it a gray block for the home. As far as the player is concerned the home block is played within the property block even though they're different parts of the program.

propblock.jpg

And below is a typical home block.

homeblock.jpg

On the game I've got three street blocks filled in. One street block is two property blocks which of course have a home block each. So three street blocks equals six property blocks and six home blocks. Each property and home block have an average of nine mini-blocks which look like a tic-tac-toe grid and each mini-block has an average of eight lines of code and there's over a hundred lines of code in subroutines that govern how the program works. Now that everybody's confused I'll head off to bed. I have a doc appointment in the morning to find out where and how bad the blocked blood vessels I have are.

See y'all later.

Good Morning:

31° and fair this morning, the sunlight is just coming over the horizon. Nothing planned for today.

Have a great day!

Hi gang!

Today I am just recovering from a weekend at the GSMTS show in Timonium. Had a blast! Friday set up was a full day of unloading stuff and setting it up. Saturday was busy at the White Elephant table with dealers from 7 til 9 am until the doors opened, then it was frantic!!! From that point til 3:30 I did not sit down. We had 2 lines. 1 line of folks dropping off stuff to sell, and 1 line of folks buying items off the table! A regular feeding frenzy! Sunday was busy, but not crazy. But 3 days on concrete floors have killed my legs.

Now the show itself, well attended, lots of folks walking around with bags of goodies. My buddies at Spring Mills depot announced 2 new cars (An I5 B&O caboose & a covered hopper) , more details soon on their web site. I only bought 1 thing, an Accurail bi-level auto rack kit (B&O) This is some kinda record for me!! Usually I have a few boxes & bags in the trunk of the car!

I did meets a few forum members, from here and across the street this weekend. Great to finally meet, just wish I wasn't so danged busy at times! We need to do it again sometime, when we can have a coffee or a cold one together!

Well, I'll be in the corner, let me know if the smell of Ben Gay gets to ya!

Got a doc appointment at 10:30 this morning. that'll blow the rest of the morning and a good chunk of the afternoon as Dr Matthew isn't known for being quick.

News from Paradise Cove. Grues have been sighted! As they're creatures that live in darkness staying to lit areas is a good way to avoid them. One grue has been seen to wear a blindfold therefore light doesn't drive it away. It's kept locked away in a certain MIL's room behind a heavy door with a special lock so all should be safe as long as some 'adventurer' doesn't find the key to that lock!

Went to see the doc today. They did a sonogram of both sides of my neck to see if any of the arteries were blocked. They didn't find anything. There's good blood flow on both sides. This means the blockage, if there is one is further up and it's going to take a CT scan to find it. I'm scheduled to go back in two weeks.

Did a little more work on the Paradise Cove module. A property block. It's infested with pesky garden gnomes and wicked trolls. The trolls are particularly nasty and will kill you if they get the chance. The gnomes aren't all that pleasant either. And this is just the yard. The character hasn't gotten into the house yet! What awaits him there?

Glad you had a good show Karl. I need to hit a model train event someday.
