Good morning. It's 73° and mostly cloudy. The high will be 85 an dit will be partly cloudy and breezy.

I signed my mother out of the rest home this morning so she could be at home for an insurance physical then came home myself to get some rest (right after I make this posting). I got only two and half hours sleep last night. I hope to get a few more before going to Ryan's with with my parents today. Obviously no layout work planned for today. Got the decal work done on one of the U25B's (Stewart/Athearn) yesterday. Still have the other U25B to do (Stewart/Kato).
 
Corey, you need to put some children in the corn field. You know...."Children of the Corn"...get it?....ha-ha...oh, well...never mind...back to my honey-do's. :rolleyes::D:D

Karl: I really like the Radio Flyer concept. Sure would make my SS check stretch out a bit farther. :D

Chief Tom: yes indeed, there were so many changes in the hobby I just had to have it all. If we still had brass track and DC only, I would have chosen a different hobby....guaranteed! ;)

How true...

When I first got into the hobby, brass rail was considered a luxury. They were actually selling steel rail back then. There was no flex track....everything was hand-laid, and Tru-Scale milled roadbed was state-of-the-art. Turnouts came as kits.

Better quit....I'm having terrible flashbacks now. :eek::eek:

Well, at least where you are, there's not much chance of the steel rails rusting, or the fiber ties swelling up from the humidity. We moved here from Riverside last year, and Chris (Vato Loco) is from San Dimas.

GAH!! I had forgotten about fiber ties. More misery. :D:eek::eek:
 
There are some amazing shots of corn in the photo thread.;) Make sure your wife doesn't catch you looking at online corn! It could jeopardize your marriage!:eek: There are studies that suggest that looking at online corn could also make you blind! I know twisting Busch corn will do it for sure!

Corn if view as a couple could put a new spark in a relationship!:rolleyes: Corn in small dose's can't be that bad:confused:! :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Rex Kiddy Corn is Illegal!:eek: I think there was a special on HBO, Childern of Corn Stars!!:confused:

Hey old guys,, inc Chris,,, you can go ride your scooter without worry, just get some grandpa size diapers,,, i would defo recomend them for you Karl, if you have a walking frame,,, it'll take you longer to get to the bathroom than supercharged Chris and Rex in there powermaxed scooters.

As for a a hot rod Power chair? 3.5hp lawn mower engine run off LP gas? with back up electric motor for indoor use? :confused: Larger tires for AT use? Hmmmm...Got me thinking;):p

Noooo diapers needed Steve! I aint that old yet!
Still,,,,,,,,hmmmmm,,,,,,,yup,,no diapers...........breastfeeding however , is a whole other matter!:eek::D:rolleyes::D;)
 
Good morning. It's 75° and cloudy. The high will be 85°. It will be breezy and clearing.

Only thing on my schedule today is to get the other U25B (Stewart/Kato) decaled. I'll be putting on the cab numbers and the road name. I'm toying with the idea of adding a little graffiti to the long hood.
