Hey Rex, i didn't know rix products made a 1ft scale corrugated building kit, nice,,, did the guard catch you

Oh Yeah! He walked out to my truck and nicely told me the company didn't allow photographs of the plant from company property. I had pulled in about 100 feet off the public road. Of course, I was apologetic and went quickly on my way.
You know what they say: "Sometimes it is better to go ahead and do it now and if it is right, you will get points and if it is wrong, ask for forgiveness....But, at least something was done."

I got my pictures!:D :D

Josh, are you lettering your weed car for Asplundh Corp. like the prototype, or a tree-control company with a presence in the West (or freelance)? Inquiring minds...[/i]
Yeah going to letter it for Asplundh, they're a HUGE company, and I wouldn't doubt that these cars have ventured this way once upon a time. They have less troubles with weeds on Cajon though. I'm looking to model one of the hi-rail trucks sometime too. I found a few neat ones. Oh and this INTERESTING BNSF hi-rail dump truck, with a hydralic boom, and the dump is mounted on a 360 degree swivel... I'll see if I can't find more pics (can't post the one I have its not my pic...).

Morning all, i posted a topic over the street and lost it within hours, it's amazing how fast topics move down the page and then over the page. I just bought 100 x 3mm red, green and yellow LED's with resistors for a quid, i think another radio mast project with red lights is coming along.
We are off to the local carnival today which should be fun, catch you later

Good morning ! from Indiana.:D

Got back from another training class in Dallas late thursday night. Got to the airport as that new security mess was starting! God what a headache! I had no carry on's so they moved me to the head of the line.:p I got thru easily but there were some really pissed off people there.

I go back to Dallas for a week of additional training and teaching then turn around and head for Chicago for my first real assignment!:p (Those poor fools!;) )

The company I work for just sent me the maunal I have to go by and part one is 234 pages long and part 2 is 375. Looks like I get to go to Kinkos and print it. I think I'd kill my little Lexmark printing all that out!:D

Evening CJ. Good to see you got home okay. The new flight restrictions, would give anybody a headache,I was wondering how you faired through all that. Any way, if you get a chance, take a look at my latest posting. Let me know what you think. Also, Steve,it is good to see you back,I hope that you are feeling better. Best advice, take it easy, and just relax. Take care fellows.:) .William.

%$%##@& ! Was working downstairs on an engine rebuild, and heard a loud thump! Went into the "den" in the basement and the ceiling had partially collapsed! This is an old house and the previous owner had put some ceiling tile up. Instead of running furring strips and then stapling the ceiling to it, he "hung" on wire  , plywood and stapled the tile to it. The wire had finally broke. Now my one week at home is gonna be spoiled by this garbage!

Yikes! Thank Goodness you weren't standing under it when the ceiling gave way!!

Yeah, don't you love those old houses? We had a similar event when about six square feet of plaster ceiling in our very old house let go several MONTHS after one of the L.A. area quakes. I had a friend visiting, and luckily the hunk of ceiling fell just between us.

Darn CJ...guess you now have a hard hat area. Hate to hear that just knowing the terrible mess to clean up. At least it wasn't near the Alabama Central.;)

I'm at least glad of that. I've been thinking it was gonna happen because the ceiling was sagging some, and with the new position I didn't want to get involved with it until after my Chicago trip. Well now I gotta deal with it AND try to learn the new material prior to week of the 21st.

Nah, just clean up the mess an walk away!

*Tip* Don't allow the wife, who's new to cooking her own meals, make a snack that you know how to make, and she doesn't. Especialy when she DOES not follow directions...

Mornin' Bill!

CJ, that sounds like quite a job you have ahead of you. Glad no one was hurt when it collapsed! I'd come over and help you clean it up, but you probably don't need a supervisor on the job.....

Carey Whooops, When the time for action come's the time for preperation has passed, at like Rex said as long as the Alabama central is OK, i'll give you a lift cleaning up when i can afford the air fair;)
