I know almost how you feel Steve. Back in Jan of 2000 I had my tonsils removed, excess stuff also removed from my throat(sleep apnea was cured at the time) and a deviated septum repaired (ran into a brick wall in third grade and had broken my nose but did not find out until 41 years later. LOL LOL LOL

Steve-Glad to see you are on the road to recovery!
You look better than I do, and I have have not had any surgery.

Hummmm! Spend money on my looks or trains???
Without hesitation, I'll cover the mirror and get a new train. :D

Any ARGer can validate this statement. :D :D :D (sorry Mike, I couldn't help it)

Glad you're on the road to recovery Steve. Hopefully that'll be the last of your sinus problems.

I've been busy playing with my new Garmin GPS. Seems that rascal now has almost all of the Birmingham District's mines in the onboard database...;) MuuuHaaahaaahaaaaahaaaaaa!

Hi gang,

Got a message from Fergie in the Far North, he sends his regards to all, here is the main part of it:

...Have been to three communities so far Quaqtaq, Ivujivik, and Povungnituk. Ivujivik was a great place as I met all the town's kids and some of the parents and elders as we gave tours to almost 100. A good time was had by all. BTW Quaqtaq means: Tape Worm. Ya I know, but realize this the Arctic is a bizarre place to start off with.

Not much modelling going on as we have been engaged in an intense program which is now winding down and should be concluded on the 12th. So that's my life in a nut shell. ...

...and that's "the way it is" in Fergie's corner.

Nothing new with me, except I drove downtown and picked up 240 metal wheelsets to bring with me on vacation next week, to install on plastic-wheeled rolling stock. Hope everybody's OK. C-ya

Sorry, LEG!, It's full moon today, so I'm hiding under the bed. (Now, let's see what kind of excuse I can come up with for tomorrow. :D )

Mornin' Bill!

Been a bit slow around here lately, but I got all day.........:D Nice bein' retired. Six Saturdays in every week (and one Sunday, of course). I've been recovering from working at camp last week. Got to go out and bring the computers back to the Council Office and return the Sky Lab to BOCES today.

How many retirees does it take to change a lightbulb?

answer: Only one, but it will probably take all day. :D

Hello everyone, it's a bit mad over here, we have the carpet fitters in and the house is in a mess, it would be nice to do some of the model but i can't get at the table to do it for junk. Ken, have fun doing the wheelsets. GM great fun those GPS units, i'll have to get one, not sure when though
Josh hows the weedkiller train coming along

Hi everyone! I'm still around, but moving in slow motion with this terrible heat we have been having. I have been trying to maximize the sound in my GP7. The supplied baffel for the oval speaker just doesn't allow much air in the back. I have built a larger one from styrene that still fits in the cab and I am experimenting with that. The Soundtraxx LC decoder has some great Geep engine sounds, but you can't hardly hear them with the supplied baffel.

answer: Only one, but it will probably take all day...RAY
Ray: For me, I will probably put it off until tomorrow.LOL:D :D
