Mornin' Bill!

Just poppin in to say hi. Got to go to the Scout Service Center to pick up a pickup load of computers to take out to camp today for the Science/Tech camp the first week of August. I am in charge of the computer room. Maybe this summer I will figure out why you have to go to "Start" on a Pee Cee to turn it off. LOL

Later!

SO yeah, this past weekend was weird. I drove through a Wildfire in Ramona CA, overheated waiting on a LONG Intermodal in Amboy CA, watch it rain & thunder all weekend in Kingman AZ, discovered they have a Hobby shop there, although it was small. Thn on the trip home, I drove past ANOTHER wildfire, this time in between Moreno CA, and Beaumont CA. Sure did rain in the desert though, there was still water in some places around 29 Palms CA and dirt ALL OVER the road until I got to the I-10 (over half way home).

Hi everybody!

Josh - sorry to hear your fireworks got canceled, but I'm a bit surprised, I always thought AZ was one of the driest places on the Continent...

Steve - I, too, enjoy watching T-storms from within the safety of my house or car. Sure hate getting trapped outdoors in them though...

Well tomorrow's my presentation, wish me luck everybody! I'm fighting "murphy" on two fronts:

Scratched CD? Nada problem, got 2 spares!
CD-ROM drive failure? Nada problem, I have my PPT on a USB memory stick too!

Something always fails whenever I present at one of these events, seems like I always have to resort to a 'Plan B' approach...

Nah thats Death Valley (been there too). It seems like the whole desert, from CA, to AZ, to NM, NV, Utah (UH??) got some rain the past weekend, had a nice swirl coming off of the Gulf oc California mixed with Gulf of Mexico... I think, thats the way it looked on the news tonight.

Good morning ! from Indiana. :D

It's electric and alot of fun so far (when I learn to fly the darn thing) This little guy is around 2 1/2 foot long. 6 channels and all the real heli controls except the rudder gyro.

I had a Gas powered one a few years ago and did nothing but crash it!! $$$$$

Ken.

Nah, we cheated! Called a friend that has a small farm tractor with a front end loader and a 10' scraper box. He's giving Jim an estimate to take the rest down. Said the estimate would be extremely reasonable!

Hi gang! Finally got my Internet Cable back this afternoon. Have no idea why the outage? Gremlins I guess! Still no rain here in T-town. I believe everyone around has received some rain, but not us. My yard of Centipede grass is now brown.

Carey: Lots of "full shovels" in a ton of dirt isn't there??:D :D

neener, neener, neener WE GOT RAIN!:D:D:D Actually Rex until last night we were in the same boat. I would watch the storms fireup between you and me, and start moving in this direction, only to either split and go north and south of us or just disappear totally in 5 minutes. I'm still feeling for ya.:)

"Lots and lots" in a ton. There were 3 of us moving the stuff and we only got about half of it moved. We quit cause them shovels they kep' a shrinkin'!

Ken L best wishes for your show Ken, hope everything works, i recon it'll be fantastic.
Ken M sooner you than me with the helio, i recomend a hard hat:eek: you don't want a haircut:eek:

Fergie, very nice place indeed! You should be proud of the work and time you spend on your property.

I have been playing with my new camera. Here is a photo of a tiger lily that grows in the herb garden:

Shame! Shame, Fergie! I see a weed 2 feet 4 inches to the left of the red foliage tree and 1.023 feet toward the house. :D :D

Of Course I'm Kidding!
VERY beautiful place, Fergie. Everything perfectly trimmed and edged.;) :)

Ray: Beautiful photo. I like taking shots of flowers, but this year with our drought and all we haven't had much blooming of anything.

Ray that's a very nice picture indeed sir, you are getting good.

Mornin' Bill! One of those glazed doughnuts to go with my morning coffe would be nice Flo, but save a couple for Fergie when he gets here, would ya. He'll be hungry after all that gardening he has been doing.

July 7th 2005 is a day i'll never forget, it does not seem like a year since the London bombings, they are gone but not forgotten.

Just won 25 yds of peco flex track for £11, a bargain
